Re: Insignificant/ Significant things that BYP or just wind you up a little
I fucking hate people
I'm paying someone to be an intermediary for me between me and the lawyers dealing with the case against the garage that stitched me up
I've had paperwork here from the lawyers for two weeks (took the intermediary 6 days to actually forward it to me)
Straight away I sent some questions - no response
Again I asked questions - no response
By now it was the holidays, so I didn't want to hassle her incase she had kids at home for the holidays
But, was getting nervous about not sending the paperwork
So I sent a message on FB explaining that I hadn't phoned as I didn't want to bother her if she had kids at home but could she get in touch when she had a moment so that I could clarify some things
Yesterday I sent a message on FB and yet another bloody email saying that as I hadn't heard back I would just use a translator app to explain my queries to the lawyer and post everything and make the payment
This morning I get an email saying -
FFS
I'm sitting here in tears cos I DON'T KNOW WHAT'S GOING ON!
People suck

And she isn't answering the phonePlease wait before sending anything. I have received an email from the lawyer which doesn't sound good. I'm trying to reach her so I'll come back to you as soon as I have all the information.

Royal Mail again.
I think they have a cushy number going with with eBay sellers. Package gets sent to me by normal courier but once I find out it is rubbish and needs returning I get a prepaid tracked 48 label which I have to drop off at a post office, no letter box and no collection unless I pay extra.
Royal Mail get a lot of business from people that wouldn't use them and sellers get a load of stuff not returned because it's too much hassle.
Edit: Went online to pay for collection and found it is free for that one, good result but a shame it wasn't mentioned before.

Side note but Royal Mail has just been pulled up in the courts because they had been prosecuting (and in some cases jailing) sub post masters for fraud when it was actually a fail in their own Horizon electronic systems causing the errors.Mussels wrote: ↑Fri Apr 23, 2021 5:53 pm Royal Mail again.

Not sure who exactly was responsible but as the sub postmasters got jailed it only seems fair if the bosses of RM got the same.

If ever there was a case of perverting the course of justice, that would be very near the top. Right next to it will be the case of nobody knowing who to put in court for it.

It's free until the end of next month. When they introduced their collection service in October last year it cost 72p. I guess people weren't using it enough. I've used it a few times, it works well.Mussels wrote: ↑Fri Apr 23, 2021 5:53 pm Royal Mail again.

Your piss vapour might be better directed at the CPS. Bastards the lot of them, but they meet the right stats of x% successful prosecutions per kmh, often by refusing to prosecute anything difficult or contentious.gremlin wrote: ↑Fri Apr 23, 2021 3:26 pm This: https://www.bbc.com/news/uk-england-nor ... e-56846218
