Moto Guzzi V7 II Special
I'm too lazy to upload all the pics, so find it on gumtree...
https://www.gumtree.com/p/moto-guzzi-mo ... 1402698678
Buy it NOW!
So I have the cash in the bank the next time a decent GSXR1100 comes up!

Re: Moto Guzzi V7 II Special
A man in Aberdeen is interested.
First he wanted £250 off the asking price because of the cost of a courier.
Then he came back and said he'd split the cost of the courier and wanted £125 off.
The wife says it's not my problem he lives in "bum fuck nowhere" (her words exactly).
I'm tempted to give him £100 off, cos no one sells for the asking price, right?
But £125 is WAY out.

Re: Moto Guzzi V7 II Special
Tbh I'd have taken the £250 myself, but that's just me. When I want a new bike, £100 here or there isn't important.KungFooBob wrote: ↑Sat Apr 17, 2021 8:02 pm A man in Aberdeen is interested.

Ask yourself this, if your next bike to buy is advertised at £5000, how much would you offer?

Re: Moto Guzzi V7 II Special
I put my Beta 250 Evo on eBay recently. I had three offers of the asking price in cash on the first day. To be fair I think it was because I priced it too low. It was more than I paid for it three years ago, I think bike prices seem to be high right now.KungFooBob wrote: ↑Sat Apr 17, 2021 8:02 pm A man in Aberdeen is interested.

My current pricing strategy is to ask for what I want and when someone comes to look, I stick to the asking price. If they want it, they'll pay it. They've driven over here, chances are from a fair way away, they won't lose it for a couple of hundred quid.
I see many dealers are expecting the asking price plus a 'document fee' or similar of late.
Anyway, good luck with the sale, it looks like a cracking bike.
To a kid looking up to me, life ain't nothing but bitches and money.

Sold Pending Collection.
I've taken a deposit to hold it for a bloke in Aberdeen, he's trying to work out how to get down here to collect it!
