I think the 44 teeth lads have a team in that on a Suzuki GSXR 125 from Suzuki GB ;)

I watched some of that, 2xraces with snow showers in the second. eek. 44 Teeth guys not so successful today, disappearing from the top 20 with an hour or so to go.
Fagan admitted it's a different bike and the standard of competition was better too.

To be fair they covered quite a bit of it on their you tube channel and showed what a great laugh it was and at the beginning held their own on a bog standard bike. With the publicity they generated it probably raised the bar with those already competing. Should have made out it was shit and hoped nobody else turned up so they could score podiums again ;)

I notice the pics of the wheel failure bikes have the YSS suspension upgrade ....same as the 44 teeth bike. The leading Gixxer of Hudson Kennaughs team also run that upgrade but no problems so wonder if they are running different wheels.

Looking at the regs for the classes Streetstock 125 say wheels must be OE, Superstock 125 allow any wheels as long as they are correct diameter for the original bike

A mate had 2 wheels crack.
The thought is non standard discs and pads with heat transfer to wheel hubs.

I’m thinking it’s nothing to do with heat from the Discs.
I spoke to my mate this morning and mentioned to him about the line that some were taking onto the start finish straight, he said for the sake of .2 of a second it wasn’t worth the teeth chatter.
I can see a shipment of newly designed beefier wheels turning up at Suzuki GB shortly.
