Re: 2021, riding mileage and updates
Out jumping today. My lad was his usual bonkers self and was the first person in the Summit to complete the black gap jump
The video and pics don't do justice to how big it is!

I went there with a few targets, it was my first time back there since breaking my hand there.
First was clearing the tabletop, which I managed.

Next was the drop that broke my hand. It's a 4' elevation but it pops you high and boy does it feel big to me, but I aced it too!
I nearly peed my pants in the air

Last one was a downhill drop that doesn't look massive but is again about 4' but as you land down the slope it ends up 5-6' that took a few runs before I sent it.
All in all, an epic day and better than expected!

150km this week. That’s 3 x the weekly average I was aiming for last year. But of a kick start.
Legs and arse starting to feel less sorry for themselves and I’m really enjoying it.

Managed another 30k this evening. Got moaned at good and proper for riding a bike ...on a bike path. Anyway, lovely evening. Don’t feel tired after that and even just a week ago it would have killed me.

Re: 2021, riding mileage and updates
Short ride training up the new hound today, was beautiful conditions.
I am suffering a distinct lack of mojo which is rather boring.

Re: 2021, riding mileage and updates
today was a mixed affair, got 80km done, epping forest and London, some nice roads, quite busy though, then back to Regents park for a few laps. 1st time in a long time we went to Gregs, bloody amazing value, £2.35 for a sausage roll and a coffee.
In Epping I got mugged off by 4 lads on MTB's for my over socks, then at Regents park some lady's loved them and took a picture, found 2 burnt out scooters.

Re: 2021, riding mileage and updates
Managed 35km today. That’s 11 days in a row and up to 280ish km. legs feel good
Disappointed in weight loss. I’ve managed just shy of 5kg in that time.
