Recommend me... goggles

I have a pair of Leon Jeantet goggles, and I love them. Designed to fit perfectly with a Davida lid if that's any use.

Those do look like they might fit with a modern deeply padded open face helmet.

If you need them to fit over prescription glasses you really need motocross goggles that have a single eye chamber. The "fighter pilot"type have separate eye chambers and would be uncomfortable with glasses. Slight complication, MX goggles have soft visors and wouldn't provide much eye protection.

Maybe not Classic but these look like a retro scrambler / racing style goggle. They are essentially safety goggles so good for impact resistance and have double lenses to avoid fogging.
They are not too expensive circa £35-40, but have a rubber type surround not a foam one like modern MX goggles so not sure how they'd fare over glasses.

I used to have a pair of bolle safety goggles (different from those) for when we went door kicking as protection from splinters and broken glass .....excellent kit and would happily use them on a bike due to the protection rating. I wish i had kept a pair back in the covers for when i left as my ones were badly scratched by the time i stopped using them.

I have a cheapo pair of MX goggles i used keep in the top box when commuting as i normally wore black visors on the TourX helmets so when i was later than expected the clear MX goggles came into use

I have the Leon J ones - kind of okay - but not worth the 110 GBP or whatever they were - but they work with a Davida - unlike my snowboarding Oakley

Might be something you get used to of course, esp coming straight from a big, wide visor. I used mine on a long trans-US trip and loved them. Dig them out in the summer too and, apart from the mouthfuls of insects, still enjoy them

No, they were the non specs model. I feel he same with MX goggles though, they both take away a part of your peripheral vision which I find, slightly unnerving? I guess what I'm saying is try before you buy, if you can?
