MotoGP isn't going how I thought!!!!
It was bad luck, but there are a lot of riders in Moto3 who manage to avoid the situations where bad luck affects the result, but it's easy to be wise spectating.

WEll overall that was exactly what everyone wanted wasn't it ? Lots of overtaking, a topsy turvy result, some good, some bad, some 'oh wow'. Can't really see how we could have asked for more.

Disappointment for me was Miller.... I really thought he'd do better.
Highlight was the comeback from Mir, from nowhere to the pointy end.

Just come here to say I was very impressed with Mir, starting from 10th is not good for the world champ, but what he did was great, really enjoyed watching him, gutted for him but those Ducati's wiped the floor with him.

great for Sam though, he looks confident and fast, and that's great, really hope its his year.

Without meaning to criticise, didn't Mir ride much the same as he did for most of last year, the Suzuki is a race day bike, not a qualifying bike, the same really goes for the Yamaha, it's no good qualifying on the front row if you can't make the tyres last the race.

There's no point qualifying on the front row... if the Ducati launch control is going to annihilate you off the line.

It's quite bizarre how they continue to go down the same path. Let's be the quickest. Fuck everything else. It's got them one world title, 14 years ago, and two manufacturers titles in 19 years on the grid. They've fallen out with so many riders with their attitude and plenty of world class talent has told them what the problem is and they've refused to listen and they continue down the "horsepower is king" route.

I did think that they would dominate this weekend as it's such a power circuit but they only just got away with it with Mir's last corner fuck up. One place on the podium with four works bikes on the grid simply wouldn't be have been a good result. The result as it stands is hardly great.

On the plus side it makes for really entertaining racing watching them go backwards through the field as the others have to pick their way by!

I would have thought that made it even more important

Why? Just wait for them to fry their tyres and then go round them. It's worked for the last 14 years.

I really enjoyed all the races.

With Ducati it's too soon to tell. Qatar is a track they always do well at partly cos they can just bugger off down the straight every lap. But it does look like business as usual with them so as soon as it's a twisty track they'll be knackered. Their launches were nothing short of amazing though.

Interesting to see Mav making such a point of covering the rear tyre.

And there seems to be talk of Franco's holeshot device going wrong from what Mat Oxley said on Twitter.

I heard his launch control never came off launch control mode.
