Got my french tv box set up so I can watch some motorsport (and also other stuff, but this weekend, it was for motorsport)
Canal+ is the only channel that shows it (on this system) and I have to subscribe at 22€ a month
Peeved now as will have to have a look at Eurosport again Didn't work in rehab, but might work better here I suppose?

I have an amazon firestick and can watch pretty much what I want to watch, when I want to watch it. I need a VPN for some things but that's not a problem.

I've tried VPNs in the past and it just got too complicated. But you've reminded me to check up on Eurosport!! After a few weeks of enjoying clean, dry roads our local council has emptied tons of salt back on the roads just to make them shitty again.

At the moment, Oak furniture land.
We are in the market for some new dining chairs, OFL have what we want but I notice that I can get the chairs half-price if I buy a table I don’t need WTF.
The maths is
8 x chairs = £1280 - 1440 depending on style
8 x chairs + cheapest table = £919 - 999
That’s right, I can get the whole lot cheaper if I buy a table and set fire to it in the car park

Doesn't that tell you all you need to walk away from there and never look back?Silly Car wrote: ↑Sat Mar 27, 2021 7:48 pm At the moment, Oak furniture land.

Pretty much, we are going to see what they say when they re-open as hopefully they can do something in store about their ridiculous pricing...Mussels wrote: ↑Sat Mar 27, 2021 8:10 pmDoesn't that tell you all you need to walk away from there and never look back?Silly Car wrote: ↑Sat Mar 27, 2021 7:48 pm At the moment, Oak furniture land.

We bought 6 chairs from an online firm (Wayfair). Needed 6 chairs. They only sell them packaged in pairs. They arrived, bolts for one were missing. No problem, they'll send a replacement. Yes, an entire single chair.

Just by reading your post, I now know Mayfair ar going to send me 30 emails a day with links to unsuitable chairs in stock or suitable chairs out of stock for the next 6 months...Horse wrote: ↑Sat Mar 27, 2021 8:32 pmWe bought 6 chairs from an online firm (Wayfair). Re: Insignificant/ Significant things that BYP or just wind you up a little
The green home scheme had been axed, one reason being the slow uptake. I jumped through all the hoops and submitted the final form a couple of weeks ago and heard absolutely nothing.
Another reason was that too many people that can afford improvements are benefiting from it, the problem with that is most people who can afford it can do so because they are careful with money. There's no way on earth I'm paying £7k for a solar hot water system that will save £60 a year on my gas bill.

I've been working as a tyre monkey a bit of late. There's two tyre changing machines in the depot, they are different brands but essentially the same. Except the four foot pedals are in a different 'order'.
The result being that I get it wrong 60% of the time
