If you say to me "V11" I think of one of these:
The V11 I end up with is this:
Bugger!
Still want a Guzzi but Its fucking ace though.

Re: The Official Pleasing Purchase Thread
I've been looking for the Huey that same company makes, that's how I found the GPz9. Decided to look on Amazon & ordered two of the Hueys.. & that lead me to a couple of spiffy tool kits for model construction (I also need to finish the big Revell Huey model I have).
I also noticed the metal Huey's are classified as "Easy" to build.. & the GPz9 is "Challenging".. So I'm holding off doing that one until I've done the two Huey's

Izal, worlds hardest bog paper, doesn't take any shit from anyone.
I remember it from primary school, was like a roll of grease proof paper.

They still had rough bog paper when I was at primary school in the early/mid 90s, in fact I remember the glorious new term when they simultaneously introduced the twin luxuries of soft bog roll and full height doors on the cubicles.Wilson’s report to Thomson explained that with soft paper, people’s “fingers would be virtually in contact with the faecal material” and so “until the routine washing of hands after defecation becomes a universal practice”, soft toilet tissue simply posed too great a risk to health.

Not now it doesn't. They removed the coal tar from it.
I'm surprised you can even mention it in Californicate. 3M electrical tape carries a health warning there, the health authorities would shit themselves at people rubbing aromatic hydrocarbons into their skin.

Re: The Official Pleasing Purchase Thread
No, you see that single solitary bulb in the middle, that was the landlords idea of garage lighting so after 7 years of having various bodges which including LED strips from vending machines and a dodgy GU10 lash up, I thought it about time I got around to it.
Rate them? night and day mate, night and day, piece of piss to install, cheap enough (less than £30 each with a quick google for discount codes) and plenty bright enough for a standard size garage.

A rather nice 20-200 INCH/lb torque wrench. Now I have five torque wrenches... 3 Craftsman, 1 Norbar & the new 1/4in drive Lexivon. May as well be accurate putting the ZRX engine gubbins back together.

Re: The Official Pleasing Purchase Thread
Just had a massive polystyrene box show up containing 55 frozen meals. A mix of breakie, lunch & dinner from the SouthBeach Diet people. They were offering a 70% discount plus free shipping so I just got $316 of scran for $95.

An all in one bluetooth, DAB, FM, internet, USB box for receiving music.
Saw it yonks ago when Techmoan reviewed it but held off for the price to stabilise, it's a little on the cheap feeling side of things but it works well enough in my Hi-Hi stack
