29er f and r, just laying at an odd angle on the fence. Either that or post night shift fatigue induced camera wobble.

Your boy flies👍👍👍

Decided to get the MTB out today as the wind had dropped from the weekend gales.... oops

Winds were still 20 plus mph and right in the face on the outbound leg so using gears I normally use on hills just to keep going forward on the trails and sand sections ..... on the way home it was highest gears on the largest ring which was too bloody fast on some sections and nearly spannered myself a couple of times score slowing down for safety

19 miles eventually and hard work :)

Tried to get done before the heavy rain came today but failed miserably :)

Light drizzle for first 10 miles then threw it down for last 7 miles around the coastal villages .... wetter than an otters pocket

But it was good that you kept your chin up, and slimed through it all :)
About 30 mins after I went out it started to rain - and all of a sudden fast rolling Downland becomes like old fashioned daub ....

23 miles today, my mate did his best to kill me with his fitness so I returned the favour by taking him and his non dropper rigid down some of the sketchiest trails in Friston.😂. I think he won as I've spent the afternoon on the sofa feeling very broken.

In all honesty i dont really mind cycling in the rain and the light drizzle at the start was fine. When it battered down i am more wary of traffic not seeing me rather than getting wet as i nearly ended up on the bonnet of some dickhead who turned right across my lane. I waved my arm in the air in a "wtf was that" manner to be greeted by a middle finger and screamed abuse from inside the car and brake lights going on. I stopped and got off the bike to walk towards the van but mr angry then decided to drive on

I said to the wife I need a new lid (after getting taken out by a car door, helmet hit the floor) she said use the MTB lid (we are saving money at the moment for various things), I said no its too old for the road (as in they need to be replaced every 3/5) now won't let me ride on the road with it.

I told the wife I was replacing the road lid
she said no, use the mtb one
I said its too old to use for the road
she said ok, you need to get a new one then.

it was the easiest way for her let let me get a new lid now and not in 2 months time.
