I've filled up the Triumph Tiger with Fuel for a trip over to Wales tomorrow. My current Client want me to check out some Offices & Warehouses for lease in Cwmbran and St Mellons so I get to go on a jaunt :)

Wished my Son a happy 27th birthday. Despite his two attempts to not make it thus far, he has, albeit through our intervention...

Doomsday plane is back again tonight... I'm sure it has nothing to do with China...

I had fried black pudding, fried tomatoes and fried eggs for breakfast. Lots of black pepper and mustard and a mug of tea :banana-dance:

I had chocolate porridge. Not your shite packet stuff, but Mrs. G.'s concoction which includes oats (obs), good cocoa powder, dates, orange zest, nuts, oatbran and I think dried canberries, all blitzed up and in a bloody great Kilner jar. Made with coconut water, with a dollop of fat-free yogurt on top, it's bloody lovely.

That was before 7am, and since then I've been for a run and come into the office and I'm bloody starvin'. Reading about black pudding and sausages is NOT helping.....

Completed a four hour exam. Online, but observed via webcam by a team for Americans for an internationally accredited CIO thing. If I pass, more opportunities. I’ve also considered handing in my nursing card today too.

Found out mumsy has a tumour in her bowel. She's 87, has osteoporosis, is very fat and can't walk. My parents live in Ireland, I'm in Herts, sis is in London. We've a video call with the consultant tomorrow.

Woke up to a £7 Delivroo voucher which was burning a hole in my pocket so fast that I have spent it already.

Pancakes To The Limit. I am otherwise very healthy

To ensure that this appeals to a wider audience (not just pancake lovers) I have just fixed a wibbly threshold and I will take the bike to pick up my Mum's meds later achieving the bike challenge at the same time 😛

That's one of the downsides of living the countryside village. We've not had take away of any description delivered for 10+ years now.

We do occasionally drive to get it, but i think that's been twice in the last year.

You need to move, somewhere like the Canary Islands? Yorick doesn't complain of such things

I'd move tomorrow. Mrs Weeksy is a no. Dunno if it would be the Canaries, more like Granada/Andalucia area for better MTBing. But currently the wife is a no.

In best STW tradition, is it not time for a new patio then?

After a 12hr night shift I'm waiting for the boiler "engineer" to turn up so he can look at our combi that is intermittently only doing luke warm hot water.

That's gutting. I think the worst thing about the virus situation is to not be able to be with family especially when they are ill :( Huge hugs to you and yours xx

We have seriously limited takeaway options up here. Pizza galore and recently a kebab option

The two things I found I REALLY missed were fish n chips and chinese takeaway.

There are a couple of places I can go to have decent fish n chips (not quite the same as takeaway but pretty good!)

But, I ended up learning to cook chinese takeaway - not proper actual Chinese, but takeaway. Which is flipping awesome. Much simpler than I expected and I've started trying more than my standard S&S Chicken balls and special (ish here) rice!! And the other things I'm trying are pretty good too!

Downside is that it's a bit of a trek to get to a shop that actually sells proper ingredients and delivery from the UK is expensive!! LOL But a friend goes there quite often so I sometimes put in an order for when he goes shopping!! :D
