ORLANDO BLOOM’S CUSTOM BMW S1000R

Post by weeksy »

I thought i'd go with a change of pace this week, literally.

So today we have a BMW S1000R, lots of power, performance, electronics, etc etc.

I quite like the tank and seat unit and little front mudguard, but not on this bike.

It's too much of a mish mash of massively chunky forks frame radiator engine & swingarm, and the little dainty add on bits. The mods don't blend in nicely.

Having said that, is happily ride it of the bars were changed for a set of high and wide MX bars :D

I can see why someone would want a padded, quilted seat on a beemer, but the rest of it is all a bit meh for me.

I quite like it, if it were mine I'd have the clocks and headlight higher and get rid of the little screen, quilted seat would be gone as well.

Not for me. The rads and plumbing kill nakeds like this. Plus the hideous swinging arm just kill off anything else resembling looks.

I like the idea and the exposed tech but the visual balance is off for me.

It's okish if it was a repurposed crasher, but there is way too much stuff that's usually hidden by a fairing...for a good reason.

I bet with higher bars it would be fun to ride, though.

Have you seen the S1000R (as opposed to the RR, it's the BMW factory naked version with higher bars).
