It's better than not. Bit heavy but does stop punctures yes

Tubeless is better by lots. But takes more setting up.

My lad had a puncture yesterday, only 3 mile from home so rung mrs recovery. Since, ordered 4 x tubes from halfords, £10. but fancy trying this slimey stuff.

Our puncture kit has those horrible thick patches with red edges, fvckin useless, don't form to tube. When I was a kid, they had them kits with simple, pliable patches which stuck properly, different sizes. Think they just want us to buy new tubes, bastards.

Anyway, all set for a ride tomorrow before the street embarrassment party starts. 🙄

They're removable. It's called a valve core, remote then use a syringe to inject Stan's Fluid

But slime is pre injected and you fit new tube

Can I drill the rims to make the hole bigger to get an inner tube with a proper valve ?

I'm confused. You can't put slime in. And you can't use one of them squirty air canisters for a puncture. There must be an advantage, but can't see it.

Sorry. Can't see the point in them skinny new valves. Dunno the name.

I've got a 12v compressor and can't use that :(

I'm genuinely interested.

presta to Schrader adaptors are 2 for £1 with free postage on ebay.

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2-X-Brass-Ad ... SwbRFeqYi4

I converted my current tyres to tubless and tbh, I don't get the enthusiasm that many others do. I don't get punctures with or without tubes and I can't feel any difference in riding. I still carry tube, levers and a pump which I've only ever used to fix other peoples punctures.

I do seem to have to top up the tyre pressures more often with the tubless

I have no idea, but yes you could put slime in. But we stopped doing that a decade ago and now no one uses tubes, at all, ever.

I'll try and find out why though.

You can get a converter for compressor
