SPORTSBIKE TREATMENT: Honda CX500 by Tossa R.
As everyone else is doing this ...
I have a softspot for CXs, despite never having ridden one. Probably my love of the vtwin and also the underdog.
I would be the first to admit though, that in standard guise the CX looks bloody awful.
This has got to be better right?

I get the impracticalities of non-existent mudguards. Personally if it rains I just take the car.

It's like seeing R2D2 being bummed by a CBX550

If he'd bused a sensible looking rear wheel I'd have approved. But that's a bit daft.
The rest, I can get with it.

Normally a big problem with shafties though - you can't just whang on any old wheel and fiddle about with sprockets and spacers. And the OE CX wheel would date it horribly. So you can see why doing something different is at least, er, something.
Personally, I think it's great.

It's a head turner for very different reasons.

I'm guessing 'tosser' doesn't mean the same thing in Bulgaria.

It's obviously hard to tell for sure from photos, but that paint looks amazing.

I think you're right with that... I'd love to produce some decent pics though, either with or without filters. I'm quite partial to a graffiti backdrop and a cool bike with colours that pop a bit.Jody wrote: ↑Wed Feb 10, 2021 7:57 amI reckon the photo has a filter on it !Mr. Dazzle wrote: ↑Tue Feb 09, 2021 7:41 pm It's obviously hard to tell for sure from photos, but that paint looks amazing.

According to the blurb, they kept the Comstars but added a 'moon disc' to the rear.
