The International Criminal Courts aren't there for this sort of thing, it's UK workers tax pounds that are being wasted on the inefficient vaccine administration and if you're happy to just suck that up as a tax payer then the International Criminal Courts don't give a monkeys.

I don't know why you're happy about it, but it's your money.
Go on then I’ll bite. Tell me what workers tax has been wasted?

The people ringing around - are mainly volunteers, and he only had one jab, the nhs mainly uses IP telephony now, so calls in the uk cost nothing.

Apart from some old goat having to answer his phone three times, I’m at a loss to see the damage?

As for the wrong dob, you have just as much responsibility to check the data people hold on you. My DOB is checked with just about every NHS interaction bar general GP visits.

Having an X-ray - can we check your name and dob, having an injection - name and dob, having ANY procedure - name and dob.

I’m probably one of the fiercest critics of the NHS management malaise, but come on, two phone calls extra - that cost nothing. Meh.
Why are you such a c... No, I won't sink to your level.

1. The person who phoned me was the nurse practitioner from the GP surgery, not a volunteer.
2. The wrong date of birth is an example of a transcription error. Yes, that is easy to catch and easy to correct but what other mistakes were made when my records were transcribed?

OK, I'm out, but finally, why are you such a lady's reproductive organ
lol - I'm the c'unt.

1. You have no clue what the persons job was, you're simply making it up now to suit your rant. That person could well have done a 12hr shift as a nurse and now taking her time to volunteer to do the vaccine calls.
2. You spend hours and hours and hours posting pointless shit on the internet, as do I, alas, I asked for access to my record and checked simple stuff. As for transcription errors, they happen, they happen in every field where humans are involved. If you are really that concerned get access to your records and check the data.
3. Why are you such a miserable old c'unt?
4. Why are you such a sad c'unt?
5. Why don't you go and volunteer in the vaccine clinics, you could use your super powers to check through everyone's record with a fine tooth-comb

and lastly... why are you such a sad, lonely old sack of turd that you cant see someone offering you the vaccine was a good thing, whether or not they offered it more than once, it was hardly a ball ache to simply say

"ah, thanks for the call, but I have already had my shot, thankyou, and thanks for calling, have a good day"

I wish some idiots would just grow up. This thread is gonna get locked, but some folk just have to 'win'.

Sad.

I've heard from friends (in their 70's so not quite so old, but with underlying health issues) that its a real challenge to actually get an appointment, even when they've been told they are on the list for getting a vaccine :( :(

As a side note, the word Cunt isn't really that good an insult, to quote a good joiner from Maryport that I'm currently working with when he was talking about a feckless lad on site.

"I can't even call him a cunt cos cunts are useful"

I heard on the news that another country had "ordered" all the vaccine and were refusing to share.
The UK has repeatedly confirmed that it will share excess vaccine production with other countries. Fake news.

To save her own skin perhaps, but in a mea culpa your holy leader, Ms Ursula von der Leyen*, did finally speak the truth! Shocking, I know.

From the EU-centric Politico.eu.

https://www.politico.eu/article/von-der ... rge-scale/
Von der Leyen: EU ‘underestimated’ challenges in mass vaccine production

Brussels underestimated how hard it would be for pharmaceutical companies to manufacture coronavirus vaccines on a vast scale — and hurdles are likely to continue, European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen said.

"A start of vaccination does not mean a seamless flow of vaccine doses coming from the industry," the European Commission president said in an interview with 10 European news organizations Thursday, including POLITICO. "This is a bitter learning part, and this we certainly have underestimated."

She added that manufacturing the jab will continue to be uneven over the coming months as companies grapple with the ever-present risk of shortages in raw materials and other components.
And
The president also acknowledged that it takes the EU somewhat longer to make decisions. "I’m aware that a country might be a speedboat and the EU more a tanker," she said. "But this is the strength of the EU."
That's a strength? :wtf:

Edit: here are her qualifications- a qualified physician no less!
2001 - Master of Public Health (M.P.H.)

1991 - Doctorate

1987 - State examination and license to practice

1980 - 1987 - Studied medicine at Hanover Medical School

Bar 1 that I've noticed ex-pats in the EU seem angry at the UK about this, I think it's misdirected.

Cheap bog roll.

I admit, I did the shopping so I only have myself to blame.

Well, if nothing else it makes me think twice when I go to bite my nails....

It's certainly an odd system.
But, early days, maybe they'll change it.

Delivering shopping in Harlow. Very few of the streets have names, it's all estates. Take the Rundells for example: the estate is accessed from Commonside Road (one of the few named roads), there's a couple of cul-de-sac's on one side of Commonside called Rundells, the main estate is on the other side of the road. All the addresses are a number in Rundells except up the top where it changes to Radburn Close, then it's Rundells on one side of the road and Radburn Close on the other. The higher numbers are along Commonside Road and turn the corner into Rundells except the very high number (low 300's), these are access from an alleyway in the mid 200's. Every estate in the place is like this with numbers seemingly allocated at random. When you do find the number the chances of parking with 500 yards are slim unless you block the road. I hate it.

It was you I was thinking of, I appreciated your refreshingly honest post a few pages back. I don't think Noggin has suggested the UK should make up the EU shortfall either so that's 2.

I'm angry but I know my audience - zero point 'being' angry online to a group of people I don't want to argue with over 'stuff'!! LOL I'm only angry because things that happened before the virus arrived directly affect my ability to do the job I've chosen in the place I want to live!!

I'm not angry about the vaccine - I don't know enough and I reckon a lot of the vitriol is due to headlines that make things worse. I certainly wouldn't suggest anything like that without sight of contracts and deals!!

Most of the ex pats I know here are angry about the pre virus stuff but have run out of shout

Brick Dust.

I had the smallest amount of brickwork cut away as part of some work on my windows last week. So that's it now...everything in my house is gonna be covered in fine red dust which magically re-appears after you've cleaned it up.

Builders (or architects) who design and build houses in the UK (where it’s wet a lot if you haven’t noticed) without window sills that protrude beyond the brickwork, so all your rain runs down the walls, stains the brickwork and soaks the mortar. “It’s the local vernacular” they say. Stupid morons I say!!
