I wear sunglasses a lot, like almost permanently (unless I'm in the UK)

I've tried a lot of different brands at a wide range of prices, imo Oakley just make better sunglasses than anyone else!

The downside is they are fragile, mine invariably get scratched but I've resided myself to buying myself a new pair every year for my birthday and that seems to be working well !

Trousers, but not just any type of trousers, I have technical trousers.

From the company with a heritage dating back to last November, Eklentson, I give you fleece-lined, waterproof technical walking trousers:

In fairness, just over thirty sheets and they're warm, fit well, have zip up pockets and when held under a running tap the water just beads off. If I were hiking up Kilimanjaro I might have second thoughts, but for walking the hound through the woods in the pissing rain, they'll do.

I'd seen good reviews on these and saw them reduced in local leccy shop so bought a pair yesterday.

Awesome this morning in the wind. The noise cancel is great and much nicer not farting about wires .

But, the sound is shite. Like a 1970s car stereo.

Gonna play about but no better than a 10€ set. Not happy.

I have the same ones (well they're black, but who's counting) and they sound great. All the reviews rave about the sound quality too.

Maybe you've got a duff pair?

What source are you using them with?

Through my phone streaming Planet Rock.

Just sound muffled like a low humming.

Now playing from phone to Marshall speaker and sounds awesome.

Mine can be flaky with the phone bluetooth...they get a bit upset when there are multiple things which want to use the phone audio, e.g. if someone calls me when music is playing. Sometimes they get stuck in a kind of 'on hold' quiet mode rather than playing properly.

Try re-pairing them with the phone, or changing the bluetooth codec on your phone etc.

P.S. I've found the Planet Rock app is a bit crap too, I gave up on it 'cause it wouldn't work with bluetooth properly on various headphones and it won't stream properly at high quality.

It's a new Samsung S20. How do I change?

And the app plays great on the Marshall and Wonderboom speakers.

I need to use them on daily 2 hour walk.

i deliberately didn't say how to change 'cause it will depend on your phone and I don't really know how to do it on the different kinds :D

I've got an S9 and they work brilliantly with it generally, they just have a bit of a wobble when multiple things try to get involved as above. I think that's the phone though, not the headphones.

They play a bit better through the laptop.
Played with the on-board buttons. One said 'optimising' or summat and that took the bassiness off the PR app.

Will try the missus' phone as she has Spotify on hers. Maybe use that for morning walks.

The blurb says they're 'bottom display'. Is that like chaps?

Play much better on her phone from Spotify :) Some songs much better than others.
Much clearer sound, maybe needs more bass. On PR it was very bassy and mushy.

I think they'll be OK and trying to download the Sony app to improve things.

And Mrs Y says they are good and she's a proper musician and singer, so maybe it's me

Should be generic, like this?

Image

OBD is supposed to be generic so that manufacturers can't have a monopoly on the kit.

Cheeky.

AFAIK they're not allowed to do that precisely because it forces you to buy Yamaha kit. Maybe its not the same for bikes.

My 1997 Triumph has the big fat plug under the seat.
