Maybe, but there was no vibration at speed and the wheel looked good (I know it's difficult to tell with a small buckle). It only showed up with the tracking and a 'different' feeling through the steering wheel mid corner.

It was the 15 years to rebuild and repair it, not the 3 kicks to fire it that was the achievement.

No, the ever more menacing '85 model with no KIPS. There's a thread about it in one of the other areas.ZRX61 wrote: Sun Jan 24, 2021 4:13 pmIs it the sought after '86 version?derek badger wrote: Sun Jan 24, 2021 7:47 amIt was the 15 years to rebuild and repair it, not the 3 kicks to fire it that was the achievement.

Re: What have you done today thread?
I went ski touring this morning. Well, late morning. Some friends wanted to test their kit with a short walk. I can only do short at the moment, so we agreed on morning
They over slept!! So I made some ginger cake (bribe material for this week!!) and met them about 10.30. We only walked for about 40 ins, plenty of stops to 'admire the view' (get more oxygen and recover!) - then a short ski back down. Gurt lush!!
Then I went home to get out of ski boots, popped to the local panini place for a quick lunch and met some friends who were sat out in the sun, then met some more friends (more socially distanced vin chaud!)
Came home with aching legs - as much from standing around in the cold as the touring I think!!! LOL

Considering it wasn't long back that you were struggling to walk far, that's brilliant! Well done

And totally!! Everything did deteriorate in the first lockdown due to lack of treatment (physio). But today the walk I did with my friends was about a third of the distance I generally did before. Difference being that I could use both poles when walking AND I currently have no pain from it (even before confinement, touring would always hurt that day and the next
I'm very happy!!

Discovered Huckleberry yogurt at Wally World this morning. Thinks to meself "Hmm.. never had huckleberries, I have me some of that"
Few hours later I decide to give it a try. Odd, looks & tastes a lot like blueberries...
Looks up huckleberries on the DuckDuck.... "closely related to blueberries"... well fuck, I feel like I've been gypped.

And me. In fact I’m tempted to binge watch the last 3 today while I’m WFH.derek badger wrote: Mon Jan 25, 2021 6:37 amReally? I enjoyed it immensely.formula400 wrote: Mon Jan 25, 2021 12:21 am went for a walk in the snow for a few hours, loads of fun

Hmmmm i'm in the shite camp too. Mostly waiting until i've nothing better to watch and try a couple more episodes, but i suspect if another week passes without me trying it, it'll get binned.derek badger wrote: Mon Jan 25, 2021 6:37 amReally? Re: What have you done today thread?
Are you allowed to say nothing?
Although I did go out to pick up a second hand dehumidifier for my shed. The one I’ve had for years finally packed up so I put out a request on the local Facebook.
Next day I had one. A bit bigger than I needed but beggars can’t be choosers.
Isn’t the internet great

Ice on the seat of my bike this morning. All the locks frozen solid too. Priority email from my line manger saying looking at the weather, feel free to work from home if you'd prefer? No brainer...

Re: What have you done today thread?
I woke up early to the sound of snow clearers
Got up and went to close the window - snow on the sofa!
We had a LOT of snow last night (possibly upwards of 25cm - one of the resorts in the 3 valleys posted that they've had 25cm)
I won't ski on that amount of soft powder (I've not learnt to ski in powder yet
) but some friends are going to go from the highest point accessible by car/bus down to the lowest easy pick up. I'm gonna drive the car so they can all go and get back (without freezing for an hour or more waiting for a bus!! LOL)
The blanket on the sofa by the window !
