Finally got the new battery tray fitted in the boat having glued the stringers in yesterday. I also glued some timber battens under the gunwales and this morning fitted some clamps to them to hold the engine remotes tidy and out of the way. It's moving on!

Re: What have you done today thread?
Started the day in a way I hoped wouldn't continue -
Coffee
Glass of water
Berocca fizz bomb
Guess where I put the Fizz bomb
For info - berocca in coffee is NOT a taste sensation in a good way!
But things have improved - I've made bao buns (or Bao - as some lovely lady on FB pointed out!!) with bbq pork filling. Some more Chelsea Bus - proper size this time!
Met with some friends to chat whilst their kids did Judo
Got a couple of hours to finish the Bao and Chelsea Buns and chill before going to phsyio!

Since the front end is missing on my bike,I took the opportunity to clean the brake calipers/under headstock and all the stuff I normally can't get at. Even the underside of the front mudguard is spotless.

Re: What have you done today thread?
I changed my front and back pads last week, given the Tiger failed it's MOT on the rear pads being the thickness of a gnat's tadger. On Saturday I rode it the 20 minutes to the test centre, got it re-tested and passed, rode home, put it away.
Yesterday as I was using my socket set for something totally unrelated, something caught me eye hiding in there. Dug it out, studied it for a second or two and thought to myself, 'That'll be the retaining spring out of the rear caliper'......
I really am a fuck-knuckle at times.

Back home from hospital.
Had surgery yesterday meaning I've now had half of my thyroid removed, I've now got a nice 5" scar and a tonne of pain, along with 2 weeks enforced layup.
But I didn't die and hopefully the issue no longer exists.

Funny you mention that. Some may have noticed Crust was made an Admin this week and all account information and login stuff passed to him along with our techie contact on PHP forum. He'd have had a learning curve but would get there.
It's been a worry and I struggled massively in the lead up. I don't really do fear or emotions, but this has been challenging.

Re: What have you done today thread?
Trying my best. But anyway, no more to be said, let's move on. I wasn't actually going to mention it bit it came up on single-track forum as I'm not riding for 2-3 weeks and missing the race series. So thought I'd mention it here.
