Your inappropriate £1500 secret crush.. what is it ?
So you've got £1500 budget for something that's often frowned upon by others, often dismissed but you can't help but thinking "mmmmm i'd love one of them"

A bit more cash I know, but since going passenger in one years ago, I've always quite fancied them in a characterful, unique sort of way.

Re: Your inappropriate £1500 secret crush.. what is it ?
I don't want to like it, but it does tick a lot of boxes for the type of bike I like. I picked the BMW as I've not had one and it is intersting as a hyper miler style bike. My brother wants to do touring (on his Burgman) and apparently I have to keep up....weeksy wrote: ↑Mon Apr 20, 2020 6:46 am So you've got £1500 budget for something that's often frowned upon by others, often dismissed but you can't help but thinking "mmmmm i'd love one of them"

I@d happily take that 185XL Honda that Harry listed.
Also, I've always fancied one of these:

I've got enough £1500 bikes already, but if we must, it'd be a 750 SRAD

An old Pan European
Not this one necessarily but it's an example in budget.
I'd fettle it and do a tour on it just to see, and if that fails I've always fancied a Pan-based project bike. The engines are unbustable and they look kind of cool undressed and farkled.

Or a 9. Seen a few just above the 1500 mark. I'd be wary of the speedo reads through and the footpegs!

1500 quid is a bit steep for a 96 Bandit. I bought a T reg new for less than 4k.
If I could find an old Brit bike for 1500 that wasn't a complete shed I'd buy that

What's the going rate for a 2008 SH330,is in and around 1500 not far off?
I'm going to be selling mine, but I'm only guessing at value.

£1500 is what I paid for a 2008 one with 20k miles and some history.

Always fancied a Bantam.
I know they were the utility bike for the masses but they're not going to go down in value and are just....Nice.

I am hankering over a project bike - certainly won’t be a bandit.
SP2s are now way too expensive - but speed triple could be on the list...
