You cannot judge the man on the indiscretion of the Virago with ape hangers! Well you can, but it would be unkind to hold it against him for ever!
Very good to know you are breathing more easily Sky Captain. Stay safe.
Today,l well I got up and 5.30, watched the news, did some theological reading and had breakfast. Am now thinking of coffee number two!
I will be sorting out the introduction and body of my assignment once the other books arrive, cannot go to the college library at the moment, so Ebay is my friend for second hand tomes!

Just looking at the pic and remembering how much I actually did to that bike! Air shocks, new fork springs and valves, bigger front caliper, new air filter, DynoTune Powervision, screen, belly pan, levers, grips, Mustang seat, forward controls... Great fun and a surprisingly good commuter town bike.

Up "early" and back to work and college tonight. So breakfast, coffee and now boiling water for tea.
Waiting for the support tickets to come rolling in and doing what admin stuff I can do to minimise boredom and maximise working time.

Re: What have you done today thread?
Is it wrong that after seeing the pics of Tiepins tractor I started googling HD Street??
Today, early start so I could call in to see the team and check on one of them who has been self isolating for 2 weeks after his daughter got C19.
Back home by 0700 so sat in the garden with coffee and porridge listening to the birds singing. Nice start to the day. Then a phone conference which spoilt things a bit, office and company politics, hate it, just want to do my job, not get stuck in the middle.
Now looking out of the windows to the farm, cows, sheep with new lambs, not a bad start to the morning all in all.
Mick.

Been tracking the Antanov 225 going back to Beijing from Paris. I think for medical supplies. 6 engines, bet that’s a sight when it’s flying. It’s just crossing The Caspian before landing at Almaty according to flight radar 24.

Re: What have you done today thread?
Weighed myself in horrible anticipation. I've lost weight, infact, I am creeping every faster to the 17st regions of being a lightweight again. In kgs, I want to be under 110kgs. Getting there slowly, but surely (although the glass of good Portuguese red wine last night did not help).

Cheers. guys. 6ft6. I'm determined to get a bit trimmer. Apparently you can change the tune of Te Deum slightly to play a variation of "Here comes FATSO" which an organist used to do for a rather portly bishop! (not that I will be a bishop, but you get what I mean!)

We all feel your pain I think, we could all do with dropping some.
I'm 14st 0 now which none who have met me have ever seen me at, but in a cycling context I'm still a massive unit. Ideally I need to be sub 13

Varnished the garden bench and bay window supports, followed by the purchase of 3 bags of compost for a tenner and some seeds. Tomatoes, peppers and chillies. Cosmic.

Re: What have you done today thread?
Interested to know where you got your compost? Did you get it online or local? Seems it’s not a ‘necessity’ and so I’m having a little trouble sourcing some?Dodgy knees wrote: ↑Tue Apr 21, 2020 7:21 pm Varnished the garden bench and bay window supports, followed by the purchase of 3 bags of compost for a tenner and some seeds.
