Of course this wouldn't be an issue but for the fact that Ive just done the crimbo card run with my wife and it seems that most of her mates live in new estates in Scotby/Wetheral/Cumwhinton and ratching about looking for Rose Cottage #11 was getting pretty damn old.

I'd go as far as to say that theres very few occasions when foglights are beneficial and most times they just dazzle the fuck out of other road users.

A few years ago I was doing about 70 on the A12 and a BMW overtook me doing about 75 just as we hit patch of mist. It wasn't all that bad but I thought it prudent to knock about 10 mph off my speed, BMW driver thought it prudent to carry on at 75(ish) and put his rear fog-lights on.
