Odysseus

Went to see this last night and despite the high expectations it still blew me away. Great film and highly recommended.

It is bloody loud though.

I seen it last Tuesday and there was one scene in particular that was ridiculously loud at the cinema.

I'd quite like to see it having read a lot about how it focuses on something that was only a small part of the original (involves lotus flowers), some have gone a bit overboard on the PTSD interpretation and I expect I'll feel sorry for Cyclops

I really enjoyed Nolan's early stuff (Memento is worth digging out) and I thought his Batmans were

Also want to see Interstellar at some point, but given my abiding memory of the last couple of visits to the actual cinema are 'I wish I'd bought earplugs and I wish that behind me wasn't giving a running commentary to his chum and I wish that in front of me would put his phone in his pocket' I think I'll just get a bigger TV and a better sound bar.
