Two for one tonight...

I like it in the grey, but why go to all that effort and leave the pillion peg mounts on the sub frame!!!

I thought it looked pretty good too. I dislike stubby exhaust cans but that's easily fixed.

Then I saw the front view. The fairing with a single offset lamp is just wrong - keep the original twin lamp layout, or put a single one in the centre

Single offset headlamp is endurance racer chic!

The original 929 lamp was even uglier, imho.

Are Mad Max bikes back in fashion or something?

Most of the bikes posted look like they came out of a 1970's magazine feature on the future of motorcycles.

When the concept bike appeared everyone wanted one, a supercharged naked Hayabusa.

When it actually arrived, it was a detuned naked Hayabusa and no one wanted it.

A lot of folk couldn't see past the HUGE stock cans. Literally.

Yeah that.

I dunno what the Japanese have against naked superbikes, its always some "detuned for more midrange" malarky.

Triumph, Ducati, BMW and Aprilia all managed to sell their sportsbikes without fairings just fine. In fact Triumph have gone all the way and just stopped selling the sportsbike!

The 955 Speed Triples had Daytona engines which were "detuned for more midrange"

The Street Triple is - AFAIK - mechanically the same at the 675 Daytona though innit? Do they even still make the Daytona? Did they bother when they went to 765?

They don't even make a 'big' daytona any more and haven't for ages have they?

Fit a set of highish bars and that'd be perfect to me.

I'd get the WP shocks painted black and lose the Mirror but apart from that, its pretty much spot on.

Doesn't the WP literally stand for "White Paint"?

Edit: No it's "white power". Can see why they don't pedal that name any more. :D
