Comedy gold. If he ever has a TURP he'll have the makings of a book or a career in stand-up. :D
The plural of 'anecdote' is not 'data'.

I won a Shark hoover on RevComps, but as it was corded, I took the £250 cash alternative. The wife just decided on a Dyson she wants, and I found that on Dyson's website, it comes with a free car accessory pack which is normally £69 too. So we now have a £329 hoover winging its way to us, with car cleaning kit, and its only cost me £79! As I hate spending money on white goods, this has pleased me immensely!

I was once told that Hoover and Band-Aid were the most successful advertising campaigns as they achieved full name replacement!

Aspirin didn't do too shabbily either. If you're bored, read up on trademark genericde.

I worked for the company that invented an electronic painting machine, named Paintbox.

Anyone incorrectly using the term (eg a Sony laptop advertised as having a paintbox amongst its software) received a solicitor's letter saying "It doesn't. Stop".
