Shoulder issues...Nerve related.. & probably connected to the botched surgery KPMG did back in 2008 to *fix* issues from the 2005 bike wreck (21 years tomorrow oddly enough)

Need an MRI, Dr agrees that I need an MRI, but he can't order one until I first have xrays.. which as we all know do a great job of showing the CNS etc... ffs. Did the xrays on Thursday. Will be getting a call from the Dr in a few days to tell me they ordered an MRI as the xrays didn't show a damn thing.

Limited RoM for about 3 weeks now, constant, but varying levels of pain & today the whole left arm is tingly. Supposed to go work on the GPz750 today, could actually have it running... but between the shoulder issues & the fact that it will be 102deg today I'm bit lacking in the motivation dept.

and then I had a nap in a chair... during which I put my hands behind my head, as you do, & made things much worse. Now both shoulders are buggered up.

I was thinking the same thing this morning when the alarm went off, having laid awake from 3am 'til about 5.30am trying to get to sleep. Now knackered and having to get up at about 3am to drop the good Mrs. G to the airport tomorrow morning.

Now I know I can have a potty mouth at times, but really?

Me and Mrs. G went out to a pub with friends on Saturday evening. Nice place, sat outside, and I hear two blokes over my right shoulder having a heated discussion along the lines of, 'You're taking the fucking piss, ya cunt...'. I look around and the two guys, both my age maybe, are sat next to a family out for dinner on the adjacent table, with two kids aged around 6-8.
I go over to their table and ask if they would mind moderating their language. All apologies and reassurance that they'll tone it down.
I sit back down and as soon as I do they carry on, 'and you can them that I ain't fucking doing it, they're a bunch of cunts...'. Bite my tongue. Get that look from Mrs. G. Ignore it, I think to myself. Just ignore it.
Nope. I get up for a second time and remind them that they have a table next to them with children , who can hear their every word, as indeed most of the pub garden could.
I sit back down and after five minutes they're swearing like fish wives again and getting all aggressive with each other. At this point I ran up the white flag and asked the waiter if we could move inside. As I went through I saw some other bloke remonstrating with them, I assume about their language. The manager came over and apologised to us and said that she'd had a word already and that they were on a yellow card.

As I always say, 'As a bird can be identified by its song, a gentleman may be identified by his language'.

A very dear friend of mine has been given a “life limiting” cancer diagnosis, in other words he will die within 3 years. I am so sad and still have to ensure he is loved, cared for and appreciated .

One who forgives an affront fosters friendship, but one who dwells on disputes will alienate a friend.

Idiot on a scooter…

He was riding in front of me at 30mph in a 40 zone, so I indicated and started to overtake him. As soon as he saw me doing this, he started to weave from kerb to centre line to block me from doing so.

It was a wide lane road with plenty of room for me to pass without crossing the white line leaving him with a full car’s width of carriageway to occupy safely.

He continued to weave as we entered the 30 mph zone before giving it the full Valentino leg out manoeuvre as he poorly 50p’d around two roundabouts…

I left him to it and headed off in another direction.

:king: Went to AAA to get tags for the GPz750 this afternoon.

"$156" she says

"eh? I have an '83 1100 that's also $156.. as is my '95 ZX11... what's the deal? Surely the 750 should be cheaper?"

Turns out $156 is the absolute minimum for any bike, no matter how old it is.

Bugger.

Anywho.. left without the tags as the computer isn't showing the bike as insured yet. She did say "you can pay now, but I can't give you the tags until we have proof of insurance.."

er, no. so I went & bought tomorrow nights winning $672M lottery ticket instead....
Talking of which, US Powerball tickets will start selling in the UK by the end of the month, apparently £4 each, they're $2 here.

The mailbox removal crew paid me and a neighbor a visit about 2:45 a.m. Sunday. I got to the end of my driveway and thought, hmm, something is different. Oh, no mailbox. And some tire tracks where it used to be. The ran off the road and managed to not take a nose dive into the tax ditch that runs along beside the driveway. They hit the mail box first, crossed my driveway, then straddled the edge of the road (it drops off rather sharpish after my driveway on the tax ditch side. It's a good 7 or 8 feet drop from the road surface. They kept going in that fashion until taking out the neighbor's mailbox, then swerved across the highway into the oncoming lane. Fortunately there was no traffic. I could see a trail of vital fluids indicating they got back into their lane and attempted to carry on. That tapered to an end about 200 ft later.

When I got home there was a business card on my back step with the State Trooper's name & phone number as well as a case number. I called the cop shop today, someone got 11 citations for their stunt driving. The report wasn't completed yet, so I wasn't sent a copy to make an insurance claim. I think there may have been a bit of alcohol in the mix. And a fair bit of luck that they didn't drop down in the ditch and make rather abrupt stop. The entire wheel well liner was in the tax ditch. What was left of my mailbox was in the neighbor's front yard. Theirs made is a fair bit down the road.

Apart from the having to dig out the remnants of the post in the heat and humidity, I'm actually amused. The mailbox had a hard life prior to that, having the box removed by a snow plow a while back and more recently vandalized by some kid with a baseball bat.

Just had to disapprove a post and ban a user, nothing that uncommon there. But they'd registered and asked a question about a particular bike company as though they were just a random person. But their email address was from that company !!! Fucking muppets.

I don't mind people getting some free advertising if they just ask, but to do it in an underhanded way... takes the piss.

Rubbish pharmacists.

Doctor told me to slowly come off my steroids and slowly up the dose of pregabalina.

I did as instructed but feeling worse and worse all week. I assumed it was because of missing the steroids.

But doc prescribed me 25 mg.
The pharmacist gave me 100mg.

So I've been taking 4 times the dose. Even having difficulty writing this.

I'll be on the right dose tmrw

The pharmacist should be struck off. There are POM that could make you seriously ill at four times the prescribed dose. I hope you feel better soon
