Pressure washer what one

Post by formula400 »

Couldn’t decide if this was the right forum.

I might be after a pressure washer, just for the bikes and cycles. Maybe the paving in the garden. Won’t get loads of use. Want to spend around £100

I’ve seen the following 3

Muc off

https://muc-off.com/collections/pressur ... oncentrate

Bosch

https://www.24mx.co.uk/bosch-easy-aquat ... c=aw.ds#?p

Or

Karcher K2

https://www.toolstation.com/karcher-k2- ... gLd4fD_BwE

Or anything else or just a cheap add on to the hose???

Cheers

have a look on the Karcher outlet site , I bought mine from there and it looked brand new
and they through a load of extras in the box. My brother also got his from them and been faultless.

If you sign up for E Mails you often get outlet sales which are even better.

I have the Karacher K2, it was on offer at B&Q for about £50. When I got it lots of other people got one as well, they were all wondering around with one in their trollies.
For occasional short term use it's fine, not too powerful but will clean the patio car and bike

I have a K2, it's fine without being too powerful.

Have a look at Nilfisk as well. I've had mine for about 7 yrs now, it gets plenty of use and has been totally reliable, unlike the karcher I had before it!!

I've owned my Karcher for a good few years and no bother at all.

It's a bigger one than the K2,but I can't remember the model. I like things you buy only once and they just work well.

A bit different, but have a look at the Worx battery washer. I have one and it's ideal for cars/motorcycle/bikes, not too powerful but fine for washing, though I recently did the decking and a full size job would have been better. The handiness of only having to connect the hose is brilliant and if out and about you can use a bottle or bucket instead of needing a water supply.

I meant to say the karcher is good for cleaning cars etc and washing down the teak garden furniture. For some jobs the hose is a bit short...but it aint heavy so i have used it high up by tying it to the top of a ladder.

I've looked at pressure washers too much now, my wife thinks i am sad. anyways just about to get either Nilfisk C110 or C120. question is its 110 bar of pressure vs 120 bar of pressure, is 120 too much for a bike or s that silly??

cheers

I'd get the 120 bar and then just adjust the water flow using the variable hose head.

Two points....how come you have Adamski's camera?
Why does the before picture look so much better than the after?
