I went to have another look at the (as was) new MT09sp today and on the way called in to Bill Smith in Chester - this Hornet is sort of maybe perhaps a possible, so I wanted a better look.

Didn't have a go on it but it does still look great, especially for the money. Sadly it seems plenty of other people think so too. All stock sold out already & the earliest they would be able to get me one is August. September for the SP.

Shout out to the staff at BS, incidentally, they were excellent.

I saw. This popped up a couple of days ago. Looks great, but not really for me - nostalgia's not what it used to be, and all that.

Pictures of this are currently going round, not sure if it's real or not, if it is real it's only a concept bike, but if Honda make it and sell it in the UK I'll buy one.

It is just a Hornet in a frock.
According to VD it's going to be made,so keep your pennies handy.

Doble have done a special edition Hornet with 5Four (IIRC 5Four did a special version of the CB1100R as an official Honda UK model).

I saw a vid on Friendface and didn't recognise it as a Hornet!

Looks alright.

Very tasty, but that 'screen' is the most useless appendage I have ever seen. Makre it bigger or delete it.

I don't think it's really a screen, more of a trim piece to make the transition between the headlamp and the clocks less severe.

I liked what they did with the CB1100RS a few years back.

I remember seeing it at the NEC a good looking bike, that was nicely done.
