Thanks Weeksy. Can't believe how quickly you have set this up. Whilst not a complete Luddite I can't imagine how you've done this already.

Oh, I ride a 68 BMW 800R sport and a few carbon frame road bikes.

Basically anything with two wheels and I'm happy as Larry.

Nothing mate, its functioning well far as i can see (despite my own hardware issues with a track pad constantly fucking freezing/jumping)

I assumed there might be some appearance changes over time, thats all

Thanks for sorting this out ....
Can we get stuck right in or is there a period of self isolation recommended so that we all start out healthy & anew ?
Cheers

As a long time lurker and occasional poster on VD & TRC, thanks for giving me another home to hang around in the corner sipping my panda pop too shy to dance

Well, I don't think I need a whole thread to welcome myself so I'll just post on here.

Thanks so much to Weeksy for all the effort in providing us with a new home.

Well, that's me signed up. Thank you Mr Weeksy.

Same user name as the old Revcounter - don't want to confuse anyone. :D

Anyone need a moderator for chucking spammers off the forum? I've been doing just this on another fourm (bigtrailie.co.uk) since it was set up. Not that that's a recommendation, of course. ;)

We signed up 2 mods over the testing period, currently we're OK for spammers, none have signed up... But if the time arises we need more Mods, then i'll put up a post to let people know.

Big up to Weeksy for stepping up to the mark, you deserve kudos and support for sure fella. 8-)

I drifted away from TRC a number of years ago,but I kept in touch with a lot of members on F/B,so I wasn't entirely out of the loop. Tragic events such as the passing of Mr.Tack served to underscore the feeling of community, and differences were set aside despite there being personality clashes between members. To me that's kinda like family, sometimes we get on each other's tits, but when it counts we all pull together.

My own life has changed a lot in the last few years and I've had some healthy doses of perspective,so any baggage/history I have with any member past or present is left at the door. Aside from moth,I'll always hate him. :P
