Don't think it went down well with the critics, but we enjoyed it. Only 5 parts, so not too stretched out either!

The Sinners. Put it off for ages as the trailers didn't look that good, but I do like a good vampire film, and it was bloody excellent 👍

The wife discovered she liked Call the Midwife last night. She's not normally a fan of Miranda Hart, so I thought that would be an end to it, but she liked her role in this. I gather there are multiple seasons to this, but not sure I can put up with hours and hours of watching birthing problems amongst the abject poverty of London's East End!

I have absolutory no idea why I'm watching them or how they sneaked into my consciousness, but these 2 are my latest;

Hornblower https://www.imdb.com/list/ls093109324/

Billions https://www.imdb.com/title/tt4270492/?ref_=fn_t_1

Very much so. :D I left her watching it last night and went to bed. I think she watched 5 episodes in succession! :wtf: She has also read 2 of the books though. Good luck to her if she's enjoying it, but for me is the same characters, in the same place with a common storyline. No different to Corrie or Emmerdale etc

Just watched Rebuilding 2025

Slow burner and half way through I almost quit.
But the last 10 mins make it all worthwhile.

I was a bit off today, but the ending made me feel good inside

Sort of like a nicer version of Dangerous minds with Michelle Pfeifer. True story anyway...

Just watched Ordinary Angels.

One of best films I've ever seen. A true story

Last 20 mins were mixture of shouting at screen and wiping dust from my eyes.

I watched in Friday.

It was ok, but it couldn't work out what it wanted to be, comedy, horror, thriller... and there was long sections of dull nothingness.

Just finished Fallout season 1. Have never seen or played the game but knew a bit about the post-nuclear-apocalypse, factions and folk in vaults and one vault dweller journeys into the big, bad and wild outside.

Good fun, a bit cartoonish/video game (obvs) pretty good world building - some of the filmed in Namibia wasteland sequences are pretty amazing when you see how much of the stuff you see didn't need constructing (in the extras)

Walton Goggins steals the show - even with a hole where his nose used to be.

Available on Prime (but I've got season 2 - 4k Bluray arriving on 26th May).
The plural of 'anecdote' is not 'data'.
