Re: utterly random picture thread.
Cannon Street station with St. Paul's in the background. Beautiful sunny skies so I stopped like a tourist to take a photo.
Cannon Street station used to have an imposing wrought iron and glass roof. At the beginning of the Second World War it was removed for safekeeping outside of London, only for a stray bomb to destroy the storage facility and the glass.
How's your luck?

And just show no bridge bias, looking east to Tower Bridge and Canary Wharf in the background.
You'll note the lack of cars, which are restricted during the day, and the delightfully decorative barriers to stop religious nutters driving on the pavement and running people over.

The incessant raging sea has demolished the sea wall. These blocks are about 15' high

I knew cruise ships were long, but didn't realise how wide they are.

Re: utterly random picture thread.
This has been going around my head all day - WTF would you need to buy a "sniffing straw" (unless you're the Pony but I'd guess he would have one made specifically, not order off Amazon!!)
