Just picked my wife up from town after she's been out on the lash, talking total bollocks at me - i need a drink to get on her level.

Just discovered I left my card in the ATM at the store several hours ago...
Checked online banking, all good.
Went by the store & it was in managers office... along with FIFTEEN other cards handed in today.

On my lunchtime walk around the industrial estate I was passed several times by a 90's looking Aston, it's had the number plate 550V.
Just googled, it was a 1996 Vantage V550.
Made a nice noise, but looked pretty dated by modern standards.

Re: What have you done today thread?
Been to see a physio regarding the ongoing pain I’m suffering whilst attempting to run, with much thanks to the private medical insurance my employer provides.
Issue is related to tight hamstrings and under developed glutes (mainly on left) when compared to other leg muscles and not an Ilio-tibial band (ITB) syndrome issue as initially suspected.
According to the physio, I’ve got well developed muscle structure and she kept prodding my butt demonstrating difference in glute definition from one side to the other whilst talking through issues and treatment plan to which she said something along the lines of “I don’t know why I keep prodding you there’, to which I replied ‘Don’t stop on my account, it’s the most action I’ve had in over two years’
Issues are all fixable which means lots of stretching, minimum of twice a day and before commencing any exercise but no timeline as to whether I can run the half marathon in the middle of May…

Re: What have you done today thread?
Today, I've come to the conclusion that riser recliner chairs are bad for your knees. Those that lift your legs up so they're straight. My knees have been pretty good for a few years now. About 3 months ago I bought one of these chairs, a mechanical one and have noticed when I stand after sitting in legs up mode, I feel mild pain, just for a short while in both knees.
At swimming this morning I felt it again, I blame the chair. So as a little test I'm not sitting legs up anymore, it's legs down feet on floor, just like the poor folk do.
Will report back results when they come in.

Do you mean recliner, rather than riser recliner, cos the latter is proper Thora Hird territory?

I thought after 70 years you'd be used to that by now.

Re: What have you done today thread?
New to me headlamps arrived today. After work went about fitting them into the fairing. Finished up and decided as it was nice and a couple of hours delight left i will go out. Put the tools back in the van and cleared the mess in the shed. By the time i walked back to my front door it started pissing down

Been painting in the bathroom this morning, bit of lunch then clean monkey, but...it's blowing a gale and monkey might be tempted to have a lie down. Might hang on a bit.
It's a home day for me.
