Small (battery powered) air pumps

Pretty sure this has been discussed but can't find it.

Having just seen my Makita pump a cycling chappie expressed interest in portable, battery powered pumps. He's a 'bicycle-as-transport/shopping' sort, rather than an 'MTBer' or ''road rider' so is prepared to carry a certain weight in his saddle bags but the Makita, even with a small battery, is a bit much. He's got one of those stirrup pumps type of thing but that's a bit awkward to carry .

Any thoughts/recommendations?

I'm not sure what model we have but it works very well.

I've recently bought the Muc-Off version.

Very impressed with it, did a couple of 29" mtb tyres and a trainer road bike tyre. Not particularly small or light weight but seems very efficient.

It did well in various reviews.

The Truflo Electron is under £50 and available from just about any bike shop that has a Madison account and has a warranty etc… It’s available under other brand names for about twice the price elsewhere, or is available direct from AliExpress or Temu for about half the price again, but with no warranty and with several weeks postage time too…

I showed him a few examples. The $49 Cycplus one got his interest and I'll let him know about the others.

We have a pretty good LBS so I suggested he pay them a visit, armed with the knowledge of what's out there and what he can get for his money. I don't know if they have a Madison account but I'll let him know about the Truflo.
