Mirror extenders?
My Step f-i-l took his Sh300 for an MOT today. Yakking with a guy there, he was saying the only issue he has with the scoot is he can see more of his arms/shoulders than anything else in his mirror. The guy said just fit mirror extender brackets. So now thats landed at my door to sort out. Anyone use these things? Anh you'd recommend for a Honda fitting?

Re: Mirror extenders?
Put some on the monkey. They give a couple of inches each side which is all you'll need.

Re: Mirror extenders?
I have ones like these on the Zed. They work, but look gash. I've never found a solution I'm 100% happy with.

Re: Mirror extenders?
They look like they'd be worth a punt for him and Honda fit/size too. Where did you get them?

Re: Mirror extenders?
I put some on the blade while I was riding it on the road. They made a huge difference to rear visibility while commuting but looked kind of crap.

I wish the mirrors on the GPz11 stuck out another 2in, they're bloody useless.

Re: Mirror extenders?
ISTR on my 900R I made a couple of alloy spacers between the fairing and the base of the mirror stalk to take them out another half inch. When anodised they didn't look bad. And half an inch made more difference than you'd think.ZRX61 wrote: Mon Feb 23, 2026 6:01 pm I wish the mirrors on the GPz11 stuck out another 2in, they're bloody useless.
On the ZX10R I used the mirrors and stalks of a Suzuki (650 maybe) which fitted the stock mounting brackets on the Kawa. That solution looked more factory.
