Heated seat pads
After comments in @formula400 cold thread about heated seats I notice you can buy heated seat pads, and seem to get decent reviews. Anyone tried one? Sounds like it could be a good idea for those cold spring/early summer mornings.

From a simple practical viewpoint... that button is going to be fun to try to look at when you're sitting on it....

Yes, unless he wears them like Superman, then they'd be heated overpants

Remember spraying deep heat on my inner thigh before a footie match, as I'd got a bit of a tight tendon, only I was bit over zealous and got a generous dose on me nut sackYorick wrote: Thu Feb 12, 2026 10:02 pm We were poor. We just used to rub deep heat cream on our bollox![]()

Re: Heated seat pads
The sight of a footballing type chap* in our student house hopping about, stark naked, clutching his nads and howling, on the landing outside the bathroom after doing something similar (may have been oil of Wintergreen?). Is a sight seared on my memory that no amount of mind bleach will shift.Supermofo wrote: Fri Feb 13, 2026 9:24 amRemember spraying deep heat on my inner thigh before a footie match, as I'd got a bit of a tight tendon, only I was bit over zealous and got a generous dose on me nut sackYorick wrote: Thu Feb 12, 2026 10:02 pm We were poor. Re: Heated seat pads
If it allows prolonged use of the vest, trackies n' sliders I'm interested. Currently trying to figure out how to give the cover some Stella branding
