Went next door to cheese next wine tasting
20 wines and 20 cheeses. All fantastic

Afterwards she said they were all from Aldi and Lidl :)

"Of all the stories you told me, which ones were true and which ones weren't?"
"My dear Doctor, they're all true."
"Even the lies?"
"Especially the lies."

I know bus exteriors are designed to crumple a bit, but damn this got done good :o :o :o

Apparently the car driver had serious but not life threatening injuries, bloody lucky

I am still pissed off with myself for damaging the vehicle I had yesterday, but the (kinda big) scratch down the side pales in comparison -

Going to need a lot of le T-Cut on that first one.

The second one is just a 'bus battle-scar'.

Today I have baked brownie and ginger cake and a loaf of bread

Done some washing

Avoided sorting an ornament shelf that fell down behind the sofa and I think some of the crystals on it have broken, so I'm a bit sad and avoiding clearing it!

Then I shelled a load of walnuts :( :( I do have to hand a half or third sized hammer, so used that as I have no nut cracker and using a screwdriver just seemed too dodgy for the FUF !!!
I so do not want to have to go through that again!! Worth it but damn, it takes some serious time :( :( :(

I have two jam jars and a tin of walnuts (tin is about two jars) -

But holy crap, look how many of the bastard things are left to do !!!

Washed the monkey after bringing home yesterday on back lanes. The cylinder fins were blocked with mud in places. Took bloody ages, looking very smart again now though and waiting to install a few bits and pieces. It's a keeper. 🙂

Mrs D birthday today, out for feed later.

Was looking at gloves on the web, and my wife said you don't need any more gloves, there's loads on the top shelf of your wardrobe. She was right, the wardrobe-of-plenty delivers gloves-a-plenty! :D

Grumpy did not get one - he had a massive half sleeve done last year though.
Mine is a ~smidge~ smaller 😆

Here's a pic the tattooist took:
