Strange things I have seen!

Post by Sadlonelygit »

Sat drinking a coffee when passed by a tandem.
Except this was ½ recumbent and ½ normal.......with a trailer.

Recumbent at the front? I saw one a few years ago on the island, as you say, strange looking thing?

There’s a bloke who uses an e-recumbent hand crank MTB around Friston
"Of all the stories you told me, which ones were true and which ones weren't?"
"My dear Doctor, they're all true."
"Even the lies?"
"Especially the lies."

Just seen a mobility scooter towing a trailer over a pelican crossing. Well, a shopping trolley, really.

Ah. It's the EU safety regs mandated 'crumple zone'.
The plural of 'anecdote' is not 'data'.

A guy going through Peisey Village on something that looked like it should be from Back to the Future !!!

Basically a skateboard with a big fat wheel in the middle, pointing longways.

He didn't have a helmet on, so obviously confident! But the skatethingy had front and rear lights

Best bit - he was doing a bit under 30 Km/h in a 30 and a place that I couldn't overtake. Unlike most of the pedestrians around, this guy was aware of surroundings, checked I was going faster/wanted to and, as the road as clear, he went to the other side to let me go by then went back to the correct side !!

Did make me giggle though :)

What would Edward VII have done with that?
