Read that 5 times and it still says "carbonara" in my head. Think I'd rather have carbonara too.

Carbonara it is. Because it’s smooth and creamy? No because it’s looks like it’s made with bits of dead pigMr. Dazzle wrote: ↑Tue Dec 22, 2020 7:48 am Read that 5 times and it still says "carbonara" in my head. Think I'd rather have carbonara too.

Front 3/4 yeah, I like it. More or less anyway.
Back 1/4 looks like one of those contraptions they used to show in Streetfighter with some bloke (trying waaaaay too hard) wearing a Simpson lid and urban camelflange strides doing a burnout in front of an abandoned factory.

A ghastly mismatch of flowing lines and sharp edges.

I generally don't comment on these things as mostly they aren't to my taste. But that thing is just horrible, I'm struggling to see anything I like on it.
It's nearly as bad as the Diavolo.

Why on earth not ? This place was designed for discussion on bikes, good or bad... not liking something is no reason to keep quiet.
Even better than that.... find some stuff you DO like and post that for us to pull apart too.
Without discussion and content, the forum dies.

Yup - me too. (on both)Mr. Dazzle wrote: ↑Tue Dec 22, 2020 7:48 am Read that 5 times and it still says "carbonara" in my head. Think I'd rather have carbonara too.
I kinda like the 'stubbiness' of it (very 'mass-centralisation'), but I dislike a lot of the details - the air-tubes are just too reminiscent of the Triumph 600 that had similar (in the late 90s?) I don't think the number panel helps at all (it's not a race bike, why have a number panel?). I also don't really like the 'headlight' area (although I accept that it's a very 'modern' style). The minimal brakefluid reservoir is also just obviously an afterthought like the "written-off-stolen-FireBlade" streetfighters used to have.

You're thinking of the Triumph Speed Four RB.

I kind of like it. I think you'd look a right Bobby Dazzler if you sat on it though.

The radiator shroud is foul and the 'endurance' theme I always think slightly suffers when they totally lose the headlight(s) - it just doesn't look like a bike any more. That and that obviously this is a show bike, show me again with a nod to road going trim and I'd probbaly like it.

Because I rarely like much if anything about modern bikes and I perceive a near constant stream of 'It's shit' from me would be boring and a turn off from the start.
Agreed I should, and I feel mildly guilty I don't. Not guilty enough to change though.
True, see above.

Something like that - didn't one of the early full-faired 600s have twin tubes protruding forwards as well?

Yeah the TT600 did too, they're the same bike underneath.

That's the one - just found it on wiki, but the photo didn't want to post here. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Triumph_TT600Mr. Dazzle wrote: ↑Tue Dec 22, 2020 11:45 am Yeah the TT600 did too, they're the same bike underneath.
