First chrimble after my parents split up my dad bought me one of those chemistry sets. I was already showing signs of being a pyro so it was probably an attempt to get me to burn down my mums house.

Luckily she banished me to the garden shed with it... which caught fire within a few weeks. It was saved by mum with a washing up bowl full of water. That was almost 55 years & three house moves ago. She still blames my dad to this day.

One of the best presents I ever got was an electric toothbrush.
I'd never used or considered one before but after the first use I was so impressed. Now if I'm ever reduced to using a regular toothbrush, my teeth don't feel properly clean.
