The bike has always had a steep lean on the sidestand,which makes me kinda twitchy,so I use the mainstand mostly when parked up. A common mod is using a sidestand from the S series bikes (250/350) as it's about an inch longer. I managed to blag one of the evil-bay last week. It was pretty rough,but sound and came up as serviceable enough.

Well we know now to make allowances for less lean on the sidestand,don't we?

Since the bike is fairly original with not many pattern parts,I keep an eye out for NOS parts when they pop up. Getting to be a rare occurrence now and when the odd thing does appear,the seller usually wants a good piece of your wallet.

A NOS steering damper came my way last week,it's the correct one for the year,so I bagged it before it got to the bay and a bidding war.
So,out with the previous,adjustable and more useful damper and in with the useless,nonadjustable correct item.

Decent money if the engine is sound. About £4800 in real money? I doubt you'd get a non runner here for that.
First thing I'd do is move the ignition switch back to it's original home. I can understand why it was done,but the implementation is a bit kak.

Kardesigns is almost always bang on the money with how people would like classic bikes re-imagined for the modern age. Such a shame that the manufacturers can't/wont make his ideas into metal and plastic.

I'd want lower bars and forged aluminium wheels on mine, but that's just being picky.
