MM93 Out For Season.

Post by Yorick »

It's good that he's getting enough time to heal properly.
Wonder if he'd ride at last event if he hadn't already tied up the title ;)

Hope he gets back to 100%

TBH he's come back and proved everyone wrong who said he'd never be fit, never be fast and was 'done' ....

If he never rides again he's already one of the greats.

I think there's a real desire there to hammer Rossi's record and given the way the Rossi fans hate on him,who could blame him for the motivation. He doesn't need the money for sure.

I think MM93 is a stunning rider with incredible skills. He may not be as flamboyant as Rossi, but he has certainly brought people into the sport and has shown that he has both determination and staying power and very very high pain endurance levels! I certainly hope that he returns fit and well and ready to win yet more titles.

Glad to see he's following his own advice to respect the healing process and not rush back too soon. Marc of ten years ago would probably be back for Portimao, but thankfully he's older and wiser now.

It sounds like the right call to me. He has no need to race again this year other than staying fit/sharp and that'll be the challenge over winter, but I've no doubt he'll put the graft in. Potentially he'll miss out on some bike development but pretty much he's shown he'll adapt to whatever so don't think that'll be as much of a problem as it is for some riders.

He can also wait until Ducati make the 26 bike more like the 24 bike.

I didn't see him having any issues with the '25 bike.
Everyone else did!
