Maspalomas Saturday 18th

Post by Yorick »

After missing out on Portimao I got lucky and was able to get a ride at Maspalomas Saturday

Direct ferry to Gran Canaria has stopped so need to get 8:45 ferry to Fuerteventura then drive 2 hours south to Morro Jable for 2 hour ferry to Gran Canaria.

2 nights in nice hotel and home Sunday evening.

Normally it's 3 hours open pit lane.
But there's 2 groups sharing the track.

One is local nutter racers and other very steady. So running 2 groups , 20 mins each.
I was attached to slower and im glad.

The others are proper fast. And young ;)

Only 2 marshals. One onto track. One when track closes

Had 2 crashes that session. Seems the protocol is to all stop and help
Then organiser turns up on his scooter with no helmet.
It works :obscene-birdiedoublered:

Bollox. Must have been a crash i missed. Ambulance gone to hozzy so tracktime stopped.

Only 3 hours open so valuable time missing
I've had 3 of our planned 5x20 mins sessions.
