New pups... allegedly brother (Marco) & sister (Stella), I have my doubts. Brown one is the female. Born July 21st (ish)
He was 6.4lb yesterday, she was 7.2lb.
Her coat was really dull when they showed up three weeks ago, shiny now.

Drax, with the new camera.

Ooh! What's the camera?
Pleasing purchase?
The plural of 'anecdote' is not 'data'.

House breaking took a step back today as it rained (it absolutely pissed down, 4-5in of rain apparently), they both decided the kitchen floor was sufficient for their ablutions...

Is there anything happier than dogs on an empty beach?

Re: Have we got a 'Show us your pets' thread?
Now you see, Syds isn't allowed on the sofa. That doesn't stop her giving you the 'Collie stare' and slowly raising a front paw onto the sofa. Unless told off, she will then raise the other front paw, all the time maintaining that laser-focused stare. If unchallenged a rear paw tries to come up, whilst maintaining the same body position, which is not easy as you can tell by then frantic rear-leg motion. If left unchecked this then becomes an almost snake-like slide onto the sofa with a look of smug satisfaction.
Alternatively we come home and find the Gremlinette and the dog asleep on the sofa, with the dog opening one eye as if to say, 'Don't blame me, she said it was ok'.
On a similar note, she ain't allowed upstairs but that doesn't mean to say I don't come out of the bedroom this time of year and find a Sydney-sized warm patch on the carpet with suspiciously Sydney-coloured hairs as extra evidence.

Re: Have we got a 'Show us your pets' thread?
The goobrs have taken to sometimes sleeping in the new crate with the doors open (which doubles as a TV stand) in the front room (which is actually at the back of the house...) They're going to be moving in there a day or two instead of spending the nights in their other crate in roomies bedroom...
Other times they sack out in their bed by the couch...
