Thems were the days, exactly how I remember it when going on my TZR, so wanted a ZXR/GSXR 750 but couldn't afford it

A mate T-boned a car that pulled out in front at a roundabout. The bike fell to one side.

I had that happen with the ZXR400 (the oil-cooler feed pipe had burnt through) - the recovery guy put one of the straps through gap on the pillion peg kick plate (ally) and it ripped it right off about half-way home.
Took me about 2 years to get anything at all out of the RAC.
