Compressor????

My trusty Makita 18v tyre pump won't go up to the desired 100 psi for the fancy tube system in the Gasgas.
So I've 2 choices. Get a proper man-size compressor.
Or get the cheaper 12v version.

Obviously, I want the proper one, but need a bit of justification. Anything else it could be used for?

I was given one by a mate last year when he upgraded to a bigger jobbie. I dunno how I did without one.

Blowing out carburettors.

Inflating tyres.

Cleaning air filters,or filters of any sort.

Blowing water off the bike after washing.

Maybe keep it outside when in use....

But I do get a bit of use out of it. Think mine is from SGS engineering?

As @Skub says, you find uses for it. So much easier and quicker than using one of those piddly £5-from-a-petrol-station jobbies.

Well, after a lot of farting about, there's good and bad news.

Good news, the Makita 18v jobby will go up to 8 bar, which is what I need. Bit of farting about, it goes higher than I managed initially.

Bad news, maybe I can't justify the posh compressor.
