One night in Northumberland.

Post by Dodgy69 »

Got back last night from a couple of great days taking in some of the North East finest.

8 boys, 8 bikes, 1 nights in Wooler. Met up at the A49/M56 junction then up M6 to Penrith, then the fun starts. Hartside pass was sunny, working our way up to Kielder on some fantastic roads , via the Sycamore gap stump and Hadrians wall, where it pissed down. ☹

Next morning over to Bamburgh Castle, Seahouses, Alnwick Castle and making our way over to Rothbury. Some stunning little towns in this part of the world and weather was perfect.

Our route master informs me a lot of our route has been the ' Northumberland 250 ' highly recommend. Stunning high mountain roads, perfectly smooth gravel free roads, just look out for our wooly friends.

650 GS miles, hit some heavy rain on the M6 coming home, but that don't matter. Cracking little trip. 👍
