Heard him for the first time when i was working in Bradford in the mid 80's He had a midweek rock radio show. She moved adjacent to a friend’s house in Albert Street when she retired. Her security was really quite obvious, which I thought a little ironic.

Top bloke. I used to work on the TV James Whale radio show an anarchic live Frid night show anything went, the only rule was you had to have partaken of some refreshment to work on it. true.
Rockpile were a great band and 'Repeat when necessary' a great album. Albert Lee's star turn on 'Sweet little Lisa' is sublime. I alway liked Billy Bremner's and Dave Edmunds guitar work. Sad to hear this news.
