TBH IIRC it didn't sound like an RD350, it sounded like a Mito!

Not met him, but I was delivering my Science Of Being Seen talk to the Kent Police Driving School earlier this year, to an audience of bike coppers from a number of different forces.v8-powered wrote: Fri Jul 18, 2025 11:50 am https://youtu.be/lkjxUQUP38E?si=XMQHegNeTAMLbNRg

I have a slide which shows a SEG bike embedded in the side of a Toyota Prius. The crash happened whilst they were escorting Harry through Regents Park. As soon as it went up, there was laughter from a group over on one side of the auditorium. It turned out that the rider was in the audience. He came over at the end and told me exactly what happened. Despite the collision he escaped with a broken wrist - he stood up and jumped before impact. For more on that technique, ask Horse.

Not a fan of the SEG. They've killed one woman already and been involved in multiple incidents. The speed I've seen them ride along the embankment at is ridiculous, especially given there tourists wandering about looking the wrong way when crossing the road. I've seen many near misses myself.
