"Doing a Dennard" was the term for a bizarre, weird, stupid 'event'. The sort often resulting in scars. Named after Jeff Dennard
Example: Jeff was heading home along the M3. One by one, the four bolts from the handlebar clamps, followed by the top sections of clamps, flew off into the breeze.
