looks like an early 60's 'stang to me.
I did think it might be. But I was always more a Corvette girl - don’t know that much about ‘stangs 🤣🤣

Watching the local news tonight when one of the idiots at KTLA mentioned "changes to the status quo".. except he pronounced it status cue...

Another one of their idiots earlier today was talking about the new head of M-16, then said it was MI 16 & was then corrected to MI6...

Riding my bike.

I've been in a real slump lately (caused by this job, 10 days and counting). But yesterday I decided that I was determined to get on on the bike. I figured I'd go right after serving dinner. However, because FML, the old boy decided that he didn't want dinner at 19:30 (like literally every other night), he would have it at 20:30 instead FML FML

Refusing to be deterred, I served him and announced "I'm going out on my bike, I'll be back in time to help you into bed".

I got my gear on and trickled out of the drive, then the grove, I didn't want my bike upsetting all the folk in their £1,000,000 + houses!. I crossed the junction, went past the posh farm shop (Cowdray) and onto the NSL. I wound back the throttle, got half way round the first bend before I found myself shouting " I fucking love motorbikes ".

I went down to Bognor Regis, took this photo,

Image

turned right around and headed home in fading light. My god this headlight is awful, not helped by tinted goggles I'll grant you, but even so. My front mudguard was lit up beautifully, but a vague yellow light hitting the road about 15 ft in front of me was not inspiring. None the less, I came all the way back to base, put the bike away, got back into civvys in plenty of time to put the old guy to bed.

I really REALLY needed that and I'm so glad I didn't let the delayed dinner put me off !

On my shopping list today is a better headlight and a phone mount. Having to stop, take of a glove to check the maps on my phone is a drag !

I'm not sure if I posted this already on a different thread   brian of pea soup at the mo :( :(

HOWEVER - the good thing is that I have found out that I no longer need to take a language qualification when I start the request for nationality here :bblonde: :bblonde:

I read somewhere ages ago that if you have a Titre Professionel qualification of a level 3, then that is equivalent and there's no need for the extra exam. Just wasn't sure what my Titre Pro level was !!

Soo did a bit of confirmation/investigation and had it confirmed that in general the Titre Pro Level 3 is good and then found out that my driving course is a level 3 :bblonde: :bblonde:

I mean - TBF, my French massively improved during the course and I now work with all French and very very rarely chat in English !! (I do still listen to English TV/series at home :( ). And am often complemented on my French - even on my accent (although when I'm tired it's still more French/Somerset than French!!)

Anyway - probably not totally insignificant; but one less thing to stress about (as long as they don't change the rules before I sort it all out!) and it means that I can use my training budget for more lessons but in grammar and colloquialisms - or other stuff like that (not sure colloquialisms is the right word!!). So that's awesome too :obscene-drinkingcheers: :obscene-drinkingcheers: :bblonde: :bblonde: :bblonde: :bblonde:

How do we think this might look with the swingarm powdercoated Orange??
It's currently really grubby and doesn't want to clean up with my efforts.
I'm thinking I can get a used one, smooth it off a bit and have it p coated ?

@Skub - I really meant the card that Felix posted (that didn’t show in my post!) - but TBF, he might be getting the one you posted as well 🤣🤣🤣🤣

There's a Spanish girl who comes to my local regularly. She's sat a table away and she's the absolute double of the paralimpian swimmer Ellie Simmonds.

But, she's about 6' 2"

Makes me giggle anyway

Was just waiting at a red light when some kid wheelied through the intersection on a KX500, standing on the pegs, front wheel about 3ft off the ground, going about 60mph 8-) He looked about 12 :wtf:

Not sure how many KX500's there are here in town, but I'll see one on the streets pretty much every week. The 250's are much more common, that's just about every day

LASD off-road patrol squad is three fat old duffers who appear to be close to retirement age.... on ancient TW200's. Outclassed is a major understatement.

I'm thinking about getting the swingarm on my SMC powdercoated.

The chain guard is missing from my bike.

Chain guards are just under £30 new from KTM (plus post).

I just bought a used Swingarm, complete with chain guard for £57 with free post :bblonde: :bblonde:
