Nice choice! I had a 19 smcr.

Yeah for sure the later ones are better. But either way they're just brilliant fun bikes, I had mine at Silverstone, Donington, Pembrey, toured Europe on it. Sweet

I only took mine round Rockingham when that was still going and it was good fun. I’d like to try Cadwell on the smcr, think it would be good round there. I’m still not 100% comfortable on it yet though, I’m going to get the suspension looked at at some point. Just don’t trust the front fully yet. It’s on s21 Bridgestones which I’m not sure suit the bike and I think it’s massively over sprung for my weight.

I used S21 pretty much exclusively on my 690s.

I was more comfortable on the Dukes than the smcr
