Anyone got a cheap 3D laser level?

I could do with one of those 3d laser levels for a couple of projects I want to do this year. Anyone recommend a cheap one?

Yep, I've got a Bosch one. Very useful, as long as you can get it mounted at the right height.

I bought a cheap Lidl one years ago and have used it many times, I just needed to add an old camera tripod to make it useful.
Based on that I suspect any cheapo one from Screwfix or Toolstation will be perfectly good.
Much better than spirit levels which I now only use for floors or the garden where it's too bright to see the laser line.

Yakking with a mate who said dont buy one as he has one I can use, but I dont like borrowing a working mans tools, iyswim and sods law he'll be using it the one time I do want it. So I'll get that one v8-powered linked to. I note the green light one is a £10 more, so I assume the green light is eaiser to see than the red one? The trades i've had working in the house have all had green light ones, so i'll go mad and spend the extra cockle!

The one that v8-powered linked to looks perfectly adequate for my usage. The cheapest ones from Screwfix start at just under £50 so quite a price difference. I still make plenty of use of traditional spirit levels and my new favourite is a bullet spirit level that has magnets in the base, brilliant when setting out steel stud work uprights for plasterboard.

Everyone knows green lasers are way cooler than red lasers.

But you are correct, they are easier to see in a well lit environment, but use more battery power.

I do actually have the far cooler green version but when I purchased both were the same price.

Got a green one that shoots 1, 2 or 3 lines. Great for hanging stuff on the wall & getting it centered/level/straight etc. Also enabled me to find out the garage floor has about a 3in drop across 26ft... which further aided me in getting the bottom of some shelf supports to match the slope & therefore have the vertical against the back wall & the bottom against the floor, sure beat that scribing malarky.
Batteries recharge via usb cord.
